Robyn Bailey has spent the past fifteen years in Information Technology primarily as a consultant/instructor. Microsoft technologies and EMC Storage technologies had been her focus; but two years ago her work with storage technologies led her into virtualization, specializing in VMware systems. Virtualization of web applications has led to exciting opportunities. Presently Robyn is concentrating on teaching and consulting vSphere and VMware 3.x Infrastructures.

The VMware specialization field Robyn has chosen is VMware View and Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), because they compliment her many years of networked client system design and support.  As much as Robyn enjoys the classroom she always balances it with consulting, specializing in virtualization and storage project management. This work affords her students the benefit of real world experience. She has found balancing both sides of her career keeps her challenged and “on top of her game”.
