Jim has worked as a Consultant / Instructor for almost 30 years, mostly with the fortune 100 and DOD. Jim has always balanced his time 50% Consulting and 50% Instructing so the students can learn from what he has
done, not simply what he has read. Therefore, he provides his students with relevant and practical examples. He started working with VMware in 2003 and received both his VCP and VCI in 2004 and has maintained them
ever since. Jim has over 30 years in the UNIX environment. Sat on the SAGE Certification Board. With Ohio being an automotive industry state, Jim completed his Doctor of Motors certification from Dana University in 1992.
Jim’s career now focuses on data center virtualization, cloud computing and the green data center.
