Mick Bland has been working in the IT/Engineering field for more than 10 years, in capacities ranging from performing System Administration for a nuclear research reactor to performing consulting engagements all over the country as a Systems Integration Consultant for a VMware Distributor. 

Mick's real-world, practical engineering experience is matched by his passion for educating and helping others.  This unique combination allows students from all backgrounds and experience levels to benefit from the instruction he provides as a VMware Certified Instructor.

Mick graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and holds numerous current vendor certifications including VCI, VCP, MCSE (Windows Server 2003), CCA, CCNA, and Security+.
